Let's play some guitar, even if we don't know how! Applied Acoustics Strum GS-2 makes it pretty fun and easy. Unify makes it even more flexible.
With much help from @zinct (many thanks!), we have unified Strum GS-2. A few custom macros will make it easy to control strum speed and play modes.
Instrument layer and aux effects are all on standby for when you want to use them and are mapped to macro knobs as per typical Unify awesomeness.
Cheers!
Hi i tried it with Applied Acoustics Strum GS-2 but i can only load the vst3 plugin to unify but it will not work is there a vst2.
yours steve
got it working and find it brilliant thanks for all your work.
thanks again steve
Well done @heyjosh The macro controls are awesome!
As a side note you can get a nice 12 string(ish) sound out of GS-2 and Unify:
1. Put two GS-2 instances set to Acoustic | Dreadnought a combo box
2. Wire the first one: midi -> GS2 -> audio
3. Wire the second one: midi -> midi filter: transpose up 1 octave -> jitterbox: with 20ms delay -> GS2 -> audio
4. Use airwindows excite2 as an effect and tune to taste
