Any plans to unify Cherry Audio MemoryMode 2?
I was waiting to see if anyone would unify V2, such as whoever did the original Memorymode. But I guess not. I've already unified it but I've altered too much of it to release it as is. I would have to do it all over again which I would be willing to do. Please chime in if there are many interested.
I would do a vst2 version, not vst3. Let me know if that matters that can't be changed that easily with PatchReformer.
Also, I'd just as soon not setup the macros. Maybe John would want take this on. The ones from Memorymode, that I think John set up, won't just copy over. I tried that, doesn't work. With the new V2, there are both upper and lower parameters.
Also, I'm not planning on doing the optional "Foundation Preset Pack" with 275 more patches.
@craigr68 It would be great if you could do a unified library for MemoryMode 2. My methods for converting a plug-in's presets directly to unified patches don't work for Cherry Audio's synths.
It would be better if you could use the VST3. A few vendors are starting to drop support for VST2, and as a result, more and more users are starting to worry about being dependent on it.
@craigr68 Thank you! I will look forward to getting the Unify version from John.
1. I'm not sure if/when John is going to post "Unified - Memorymode V2". So in the meantime, I posted it to my google drive (link below). The macro knob assignments are sort of incomplete compared to Memorymode V1. The parameters for V2 are different mostly because there is an upper and lower layer that didn't exist in V1. So I set the first 6 knobs to what I thought they should be. The rest of the knobs links will show in red. So do what you want with those. You can edit one patch to your liking and then use the utility PatchReformer to make them all the same.
2. I'm presenting this as a zip file. I didn't want to do a guru file. So you would need to:
a. Under your library folder, create a folder "Unified - Memorymode V2". Then create Patches subfolder to there. Then unzip to there.
b. Rebuild the Unify database.
Let me know if there are any issues.
