Here's the factory library for PS-20 Unified.

You must own full Unify and Cherry Audio PS-20 to be able to use it.

Enjoy!

Hi Jeremy,

Could I ask you to re-post the link please, as dropbox is reporting that the file has been deleted, presumably as it was over a month old.

Thanks,

Nigel Baillie

@holmwoody

Hi Nigel,

I have updated the first post with a new link.

My dropbox is always filling up, so I think I deleted the guru to make space; especially as I had zero feedback after posting it.

Best,
Jeremy

Hi - have found a faulty patch in the libarary and am a bit mystified.  In the strings category, the patch Pure Strings is silent on my machine.

If I load it from the synth browser in the standalone version of PS20 it plays fine; also if I start an empty unfiy, load PS20 and select the patch from the synth browser it plays fine.  However I cannot see why it is silent if I load it from the unify browser.  Any ideas?

@robertpeveler

I just tried it here and it works fine either in Unify or standalone. Are you running the latest PS-20 version (1.1.0 released on August 5th)?

I haven't actually updated yet but I'm on v1.0.5 which also works fine with that patch.

UPDATE: Ok I have now updated PS-20 to v1.1.0 and that patch didn't work initially in Unify but after reloading it it works again.

UPDATE2: When I try that patch with the latest Unify beta (154) it is also silent but still works fine with the latest release of Unify (1.5.3). After trying it a few times it now also works in the latest beta of Unify so I think it's a bit of a head scratcher to be honest. 🤔

@zinct , @robertpeveler

I've tested it and it really behaves erratic.

If Pure Strings is the first patch I open in Unify it works. If I then go to another patch with PS-20 and then back to Pure Strings, it is silent. If I then add the same patch (Shift+click), it plays, but not the original layer with the same patch. Also, if I load a patch with another instrument and then go back to Pure Strings, it plays again until I select anoter PS-20 patch.

Really interesting 🤔.

I should mention that I have the demo version of PS-20 (1.1.0 Build 94).

Win 10 and 11/Cubase Pro 12/Unify/Wavelab 8/Vienna Pro 7/Spectrasonics all/NI 13 Ultimate/Izotope MPS2/Serum/Cthulhu/Scaler 2.5/MusicLab guitar vsts/BIAB 2022/TouchOSC/Metagrid Pro etc

Please keep an eye on this. Flaky patch-loading may be a symptom of other issues which could be important.

So, I loaded a new PS20 into an initiallized Unify, loaded the patch from the synth browser, and it worked; then created an empty Unify layer in the same instance, and loaded the patch into that from the Unify browser - as expected, this layer was silent, whilst the original still worked.  I then selected the working PS20, and copied the plugin state.  I went to the other instance, and pasted the plugin state - but to no avail: still silent.  So not a solution.

Should add that I do have the up to date version of PS20.
