Hi all,
I've begun unifying all of the Korg M1 presets (just the PROG ones so far). This will take a while since it comes with all of the Expansion ROM Cards. I will also look at doing all of the MULTI and COMBI presets as well.
I've completed all of the 1,750 "PROG" presets.
I plan on tackling the "COMBI" presets at some point, but will take some time to do so, so I thought I'd release these for now.
Should I send those to you, or John?
Thanks for doing this. I missed it when you posted it - maybe it was knocked off the first page before I saw it.
Anyway, I appreciate the effort 👍
Incidentally, I have just tested Thomas's ( @thsve ) method of switching between presets using TouchOSC and it also works for M1 so could be used to automate the conversion of Combis in M1. Here's the link to his post --> https://forums.pluginguru.com/postid/10611/

Thanks for this. I will check it out.
Where these ever uploaded ? 😉
I emailed John and Shane that I have the PROG presets done, but maybe they didn't see it. I will try again.
@getdunne Do you want the PROG presets for release to the community (I've had them done for quite some time, but without any limiting, etc. applied.), or do you want to wait until the COMBI ones are done (which might take some time)? I was thinking these could be released as 2 different libraries instead of combining them all into one library.
Libraries are John's department. I've sent him a link to your post.
Feel free to send the patches file to us at unifysupport@pluginguru.com. I'll look at where you are with knob assignments, names and tags and get back to you. Thank you for saving out all these patches - that's a lot of work!

@pluginguruforums Hi John, I just sent them to you (but I addressed it to Shane....Ooops!). Anyway, the patches have good tags and comments. Where patches were essentially the same (due to Korg's cartridges having some overlap) I added the cartridge to the end of the name. No knobs were mapped and no limiting was added. I figured you could batch that quicker than I could.
Hi guys,
I wasn't able to make the livestream today, but it appears that whatever batch editing of the patches screwed up the originals. Perhaps the M1 plugin does not play nicely with those tools? Anyway, a bit embarrassing since I am almost 100% sure the original patches I sent you were good. Hopefully Shane can investigate why the batch routine messed everything up. 🙁
@getdunne Great! Thanks for letting me know! 🙂 No longer despondent. LOL!
Is the updated version available?
I have released an updated version of the library (it was already available at the Unify home page with a different library name) and renamed it to "Unified - Korg M1 Patches". There will potentially be another library for the M1 that includes just the Multi presets. This library contains all 1,750 Patches that were released by Korg for the M1 plug-in.
Thank you, @Despondo for converting these!

on the m1 patches, unify isn't finding the m1 for some reason.
if i select an m1 patch i get the 'unable to load vst plugin' error. if i manually replace the red (M1) with the vst3 m1 the patches work fine.
i've tried the rebuild. i've removed and reinstalled the korg vst.
please let me know what i'm doing wrong. thanks

You must ensure that the VST2 version of the Korg M1 plug-in is not only installed on your system, but also listed in Unify's Known Plug-Ins List. See this page in the Unify manual for details.
