Just as an FYI I have now sent the new Unified Pigments 3 factory patches (200 of them) to John so that he can add his changes to it.
First of all, thanks!

Second of all, how long does something like this take you, and how do you do this so quickly? I'm working on the Falcon 2 libraries and it's taking forever.
I use AutoHotKey (AHK) and a modified script I used for Analog Lab V. The following forum thread discusses the use of AHK for such things...
https://forums.pluginguru.com/unified-libs/autohotkey-unify-patch-browser/paged/3/#post-9181
Pigments 3 was not completely automated as I tend to do the patches a category at a time (BASS, LEAD etc) so that I can check for issues along the way before it does too many patches. Even so it probably only took about 20 minutes to do.
I would have offered to help with Falcon 2, by the way, but it's one of the big synths that I don't own (yet). I was trying to decide between OmniSphere 2 and Falcon 2 when the latter was on sale last year but I plumped for OmniSphere 2 due to the abundance of PluginGuru and Unify libraries available.Β
@zinct I'll check out AutoHotKey, thanks! I'm scared already, though, because I'm worried I'll need to program something, and I'm just AWFUL at that!
Ah, oh well! I think this is similar on a Mac ( https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/main/ ) although the AHK scripts probably won't work but you might be able to do something similar.

Thanks for this. Pigments is a go-to library for me, and Unify makes it even better via layered patches. Much appreciated!
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for Unifying these! I'm new to Unify and, having just taken up Arturia's offer for existing customers, new to Pigments tooΒ 😀Β
Can't wait to get stuck in to these and v1.5 when it drops
All the best!

@zinct Good job Jeremy!
Are you planning to do the Spectrum soundbanks as well? Or is that a different beast, since they are being sold separately by Arturia, hence not really Factory, and might have different permission implications?Β
Does Autohotkey also automatically map the macro knobs, once you provide it a template? Pigments seems to be a bit easier with the macros than Falcon.

Has anybody else noticed how Pigments 3 takes several times longer to load as a VST? Especially when browsing through the Unify presets, even though Pigments 3 was loaded before, it takes 5-10 seconds to load the next presets. I made the same experience with Pigments in DAWs, so this is not Unify specific. But difference between day and night compared to earlier Pigments version, in Unify or else. Same PC, same hardware, same environment.

Thanks Bernd. Yes I would like to do the Spectrum soundbank once I get around to buying it (hopefully before the offer ends). I didn't have much time tonight - I was busy Unifying another library, lol! You raise an interesting point though regarding Unifying anything other than the Factory library, or rather the sharing of that library. The answer is that I don't know but I would probably err on the side of caution if in doubt. Did you hear back from UVI yet regarding Unifying their Falcon 2 libraries?Β
Autohotkey doesn't know anything about macro knobs. Think of Autohotkey as a blindfolded person sitting in front of a PC and you have to tell that person what to do e.g. "move the mouse to location 1024, 356 on the screen", "click the left button, once" etc etc.Β
