@getdunne I wish you would stop doing that. First Zebra2, now Phase Plant. I am fast approaching Nirvana. People will (and should) be jealous.

@thsve

Hi Thomas,

I just realised that you can use the "save as" trick to retrieve the patch name.

Also, I wondered how you were going to handle the categories such Complex and Motion? These seem to have various types of patch such as (in Unify terms) PAD, SEQ, TEXT and even some BPM stuff. I could always manually save these as there aren't that many of them. Alternatively, I guess you could just use the Phaseplant categories and therefore invent new Unify ones?

I haven’t decided yet what to do with the Categories. I will use my editor after everything is unified and add prefixes.

you don’t need to use the save as, just right click the field and copy.

@getdunne @zinct

I have unified Phase Plant and everything works as expected save for one issue:

When I select a patch in the browser, the patch loads as expected but the patch in the Unify browser doesn't get "selected". I suspect there is some minor problem with the patch file. I have used the same procedure and scripts as always and never encontered this before.

Shane do you have som clue what I should look for? I attach a part of the library (5 patches): (It is a guru file but I wasn't allowed to attach that. Just rename it to .guru).

Edit: Removed link. Full library sent to Shane.

Thanks @thsve

It seems to work fine here Thomas. The patches load fine and they are selected in the Unify browser.

Nice also that you have all the macro knobs named correctly per patch 👍

@thsve

The patches load OK for me, too. Which version of Unify are you using? Please post a screenshot of what you mean by "the patch in the Unify browser doesn't get "selected"".

I have beta 212. What i mean is that normally the selected patch are green in the browser, not theese patches. Other libraries are ok, so it is something with this library. I will do a full rebuild and see if that solves it. Not at the computer at the moment.

I just got Kilohearts' Phase Plant this morning, as part of a very wallet-friendly bundle from Audio Plugin Deals. If ever there was a soft-synth to make me want to buy a more powerful computer, this is it. A bit CPU heavy, but well worth it.

I grabbed that Phase Plant deal today! Very nice!

Looking forward to a Unified version for sure! 😀
