My version of Unifiy terminates sortly after the start. I decided to make a new installation with the new version 1.11.4. But my protection ( Acronis ) moves the file into quarantine. Reason: generic.malicious.exe

Hey Seagreg,
It sounds like you will need to allow the install by removing the file from quarantine and then choosing to permit the install of the .exe.
I assure you there is no malicious software. It is being flagged because of the unique file type we use in our program.
There seems to be an issue with Windows computers that requires you to install the very latest Microsoft C++ runtime. Download link: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe (That’s an official link from a page on Microsoft.com; it should be 100% safe.)
