*Abbey Road ONE and Film Scoring Selections Just Added**
Hello Guru Nation,
I am very excited to be learning more about Unify and building "Unified" libraries.
I can see a real Unify "ecosystem" developing which will only increase the value and usability of Unify.
Here are a few more of the Spitfire Originals titles I have Unified.
As I am learning this process, they are the factory patches for the most part.
Feel free to download and give them a try.
Consider this similar to an open beta, so please let me know if you find anything that is not working for you as expected and I will do my best to correct it and upload any updates.
If you come up with anything interesting using other elements from the Unify Standard Library, it would be great to hear it and possibly include user patches in a future update of the patch library.
Thanks to John and Shane for the amazing support and vision for Unify.
Joyfully,
Simeon

Here is an updated link for ORIGINALS FELT PIANO.
John fixed the naming, this is also going to be the official link.

Very thankful for your solid efforts /results here, Simeon. Opened desired options for more Originals additions, as UNIFYcation brings new value.

Awesome Simeon, your keeping busy I see! I only have Felt Piano and Mrs Mills from originals, maybe have to get the others now lol. I have Albion 1, Solstice and Tundra libraries. Think Solstice would be a great one, I may try myself and see if I can do it.
I've started on Solstice, done the Elders Strings section. 🙂

That is great!
When doing these, make sure you check out the patch naming conventions.
Another thing that is helpful when going into these is to make sure to populate the Categories and Tags, as that is a big help when searching for specific types of sounds.
I am looking forward to checking out your progress, exciting stuff!

Thanks for tips Simeon! Maybe I should send you what I’ve done to see if it is done right before proceeding! I only really put Strings down as a tag for these so need to have a think about that and naming as well. They are appear on list with L1 next to them but I’m not putting that in as name. I tried putting another layer from
Zebra on to the Longs last night and tried to save that as a preset but it just came up as different layers and put L1, L2 at end of name and separate files, I’m doing something wrong but not sure what yet lol!

SPITFIRE AUDIO APPASSIONATA STRINGS
After the livestream yesterday I thought it was only appropriate to Unify Appassionata.
It is such a beautifully executed library.
INCLUDED:
All Factory Presets
Individual Articulation Presets
Ensemble Patch
All Microphone Mixes Mapped To Macro Knobs
As always please let me know if you run into anything unusual as well as if you come up with any interesting patches using Appassionata and the unify factory content.
Enjoy!

UPDATE - I realized after uploading the initial zip file that I needed to go back and update the Unify Transport State to MANUAL START/STOP. For some reason, the Spitfire Player cuts notes off short if the Unify Transport is set to MIDI / Quick Stop.
Make sure you download this update if you had downloaded the original zip file.

@praisetracks Amazing Simeon, that was quick, look forward to trying this tonight. Many thanks
Thank you SO much Simeon. I was inspired by your livestream yesterday to purchase Appassionato Strings and spent some time last night doing a little demo that I created with Scaler 2.5, Unify, Appassionato Strings and more. Link is in the music share section. I had surgery on my left-hand last week, so I couldn't use the keyboard effectively (nowhere near your level anyway).
I did a Unify patch combining Violin1, Viola, Cello and Bass to make a string orchestra.
I really enjoyed the livestream.

It is my pleasure, I am so glad you enjoyed the livestream as these moments are so wonderful to share. I look forward to checking out your arrangement.
Also if you would like to share your Appassionata patch I would love to check that out as well and possibly include it in a future update.

*ABBEY ROAD ONE FILM SCORING SELECTIONS *
Here are the Six Film Scoring Selections Unified.
I thought to do them separately as users might have one or all of them so it helps to keep things a little more organized and modular.

Wow, @praisetracks, you're a machine!
This is a terrific contribution to our Unify community. Thank you!
@getdunne, it is my pleasure!
This makes using these powerful instruments much more convenient and opens them up to enjoy all that Unify has to offer.
Now if we can only sort out Kontakt!!!!!

I agree with @getdunne. You're amazing, Simeon, and you happened to hit all of the libraries that I own, so double great!

I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to review all of these libraries and it is a way I can not only learn how to use Unify more efficiently myself but also to pass a blessing to the Unify community as well.
The key to unlocking the full potential of Unify is in users putting together Unified libraries. The more we can learn how to do this will help lighten the workload that John, Shane, and Taylor have to deal with.
There is also a HUGE Concept I talked about in a recent live stream, I think it was when I had done some of the Originals, looking at using Unify to create what I am calling the Unified Meta Orchestration Template. It is like a supercharged template that would streamline things immensely for those using Unify. It can only work if we have the Unified patch libraries to cover the virtual instruments that most composers are using.
We are definitely on our way!

Here's the patch I made for Appassionato String library. It's a string orchestra patch with Violin1, Viola, Cello and Bass with knob control of Dynamics and Expression. It's pretty simple. You may want to add to it.
Requires Spitfire Appassionato Strings.

I'd like to help, but I honestly get so stressed and worried I'm not following the conventions set forth. I've read the naming convention document and have mostly followed it, but done something different in some cases. I'm not really spending time on the categories and tags and wondering if that will be a problem. I have a library finished, but I realized I named it wrong, so am now in the process of re-saving everything with the correct library name. I still want to add comments from a video where the sound designer describes each sound.
BTW, Simeon, I have been watching and re-watching some of your videos over the last week due to the current Native Instruments sale on Heavyocity libraries. I bought Ascend yesterday and am contemplating Mosaic Keys. Sorry for de-railing this thread. I probably would have posted to the Hangout Lounge, but that is only for beta users.
Ableton Live 10, Omnisphere, Native Instruments (Pianos), Spire, Hammer + Waves, Heavyocity (Ascend and Mosaic Keys), Diva, SynthMaster, Alchemy 1.55, Addictive Keys, Unify

No worries.
I think if you get the basics in the ballpark that is something.
When I am working on these, if I get a good initial start then it is just a matter of changing a couple of tags here and there when "saving As" New patches. I think we are all on this amazing learning curve and the community is so supportive that I know we can do this.
Thanks for checking out the channel as well, I hope you enjoy what you are seeing there and that you find some useful information there.

Thanks Simeon for the Abbey Road libraries. Very Nice!
Now, what would be amazing is if there was a way via Unify to browse and add these, without the manual steps of downloading the files from the website.
Shane? 🙂

Which files from which web site? If you're talking about Spitfire Audio's files, that's a different company; we can't access their files. If you're talking about PlugInGuru's files, then you're saying we should have our own Download Manager software. Maybe someday...
Hi Shane. I was thinking of an easy way to add unified libraries. Perhaps a list in a table, like the VST's, where I can just click and it will download the zip, decompress and merge the .unify file into the library. Untick will remove it again.
Obviously, you'd still need to download the underlying VST and install it separately, but it would make adding unified libraries a breeze.
