One of the big things about using PluginGuru patches is having a Midi CC Controller with Faders.
With that in mind I created a Touch OSC Config for Unify for myself, and wanted to share it, in case anyone else wants to use it.
I wanted it to work with a fresh install without requiring CC Learn so I set the Fader CCs to the default CCs for Unify.
The other controls CCs are set to ones that aren't commonly used.
Feel free to edit it as you wish or use it as you wish.
Features
- 8 Faders - Set to the following CCs - 01, 02, 04, 67, 34, 36, 98, 99
- Mod Wheel Slider
- Pitch Control Slider
- A micro Keyboard:
- Page 1: Keys C2-G3
- Page 2: Keys C3-G4
- Page 3: Keys C4-G5
- A Strum Bar:
- Page 1: C2-C4 (No #, No b)
- Page 2: C3-C5 (No #, No b)
- Page 3: C4-C6 (No #, No b)
- 8 Rotary Dials with 0-127 response each, set to the following CCs - 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109
- 8 Toggle Switches, set to the following CCs - 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53
- A Clock display and remaining battery power for the iPad
Installing on iOS:
I find the easiest way to install the file is to upload it into your iCloud account on the web. On the iPad use the File feature to navigate to the iCloud Drive cloud folder on your iPad, then copy and paste the file into your TouchOSC folder. (I can never get the TouchOSC Config to transfer it properly myself and it's a pain with iTunes.)
Hope that this helps people to utilize Unify to its fullest!
Here is the Google Drive Link as a Zip File

I couldn't attach it to the Forum itself.
Welcome to the Forum, and thank you for sharing this! If others are interested, we might want to start an OSC section of the Forum.
I have attached a zipped version of your TouchOSC template file here. You might not have been allowed to attach files to your first post (I think that's a safety feature of the forum software), but you should be able to from now on.
OSC support and iPad remote control are areas of great interest to me, which I hope to develop for future versions of Unify.
Thank you for the warm welcome to the forums Mr. Dunne.
I appreciate you for linking the zip file. I saw that you have added a Live Play Forum section. I'm sure there will be great things coming.
I've attached a screenshot of the layout of my TouchOSC config so everyone can see it.
For those not familiar with TouchOSC, using the TouchOSC Editor you can move any of these items in the configuration where you want.
You can also rename any labels or change the CC codes.
Terrific, thank you. Please note I've started a separate discussion topic for TouchOSC, Lemur, etc. at https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-live/touchosc-lemur-etc/ .
Looking good, will give this a try.
Thanks @robert-pryke and @getdunne
Thank you @robert-pryke . That's a great template. Lots of control and very well laid out.
Thanks for creating this Robert and sharing it! I have it running on my iPad Mini and can control some things with it when running Unify in Reason. For some reason, only cc1 and cc2 work. cc4, cc67, etc. do not. Any ideas?
I'm going to try on the standalone Unify to see if it is a Reason issue.
Okay. Works perfectly in Standalone mode, so it must be Reason causing the issue. Any Reason users out there that can help?
Okay, I figured it out inside of Reason.
You want to lock TouchOSC to the Unify device by right-clicking on it and selecting it from the list.
You have to click on the "Remote" button at the top of the plugin window and then click on the Unify macro control. A dialog will pop up that allows you to move a control on TouchOSC to map to the macro.
Hope this helps other Reason users of Unify and TouchOSC.
