Hi. This is my first attempt at sharing an Unify Init Preset for Native Instrument’s Massive which can get you started. But it's not just a simple init preset…
It has Macros routed to Macros inside of Massive. It also uses Xfer OTT as an Insert for shaping the Sound which has Macros routed to it as well for Compression Amount and tonal balance control.
Plugin Format: VST (…hopefully. The original was done with AUs on Mac, but I replaced them with VSTs).
Features:
- Micro Knobs 1-6 are linked to these Massive's Macros: Vibrato, Wavetable Position (Osc. 1), Filter Cutoff, Resonance and Unison Spread
- Macro 7: Controls the Drive into OTT Multiband Comp (OTT Depth)
- Macro 8: Controls the High and Low Band Threshold in opposite directions creating a tilt shift balance control. Center = neutral; Turn Left = more bass, less highs; Turn right = more highs less lows.
- BlueArp (bypassed by default).
Included in the zip:
- Unify Preset file you can find in the Browser (Category: Synth, Author: Steezonics)
- Instrument Layer Preset (I don’t know if it’s necessary, though but nice to have)
- Macro Layer Preset (might not be necessary, but nice to have as well)
- Massvie Init Preset with routed Macros (might be necesseary, not sure if the routing works without it)
- Read me with installation instructions. The Windows file paths are missing since I don't use windows, maybe someone could add these. Shouldn't be hard to find, though.
Required Plugins:
Xfer OTT (free VST)
I hope this works for everyone. Let me know if it does not.
Here it is:

Thanks Klasus, I installed this patch. The only blip I had is I did not have OTT. I found Splice's OTT was a free download and therefore got it and installed. After that, the patch works perfectly and loved the setup on the macro knobs. Thanks
Nice. Good to here that it worked for you. I've spend quiet some time on setting it up coerrectly, so I'm glad it works for other people too. The official version of OTT can be found at xferrecords.com/freeware
