Not really Unify related, but potentially exciting news for some audio software developers. Might have some interesting longer term implications for new software ideas:

For those not familiar with ARA: It's a standard API that makes it possible for sound editing plugins to become more tightly integrated into a DAW. It doesn't really compete with VST/AU/AAX/LV2, but addresses a different need.
