I have a signature in my forum profile that I'd like to edit, but see no way to do so. Was this feature of the forum turned off?

Yes, this was turned off, probably because so many fake user accounts abused it. I've turned it back on again.
Click on green "My Profile > Account" and you should now be able to edit your signature.
Please note, if this results in further abuse (malicious or spam links in any user signatures), I'll have to turn it off again.
