With increasing number of patches and libraries, the processing time to rebuild the library database becomes a problem. My workaround has been to move library folders in and out of the UNIFY library folder.
But since I am a nerd (obviously) I had to find another solution, so I wrote a utility to solve the problem: The UNIFY - Library Rebuilder.
This (un-?) neccesary tool facilitate surgically adding, removing and changeing the UNIFY library database.
I've published a short YT-clip to show it in action here: https://youtu.be/U3wCv85GfAE
Neerdy greetings 🤓

Sounds fantastic (says fellow nerdy person)! Where can one obtain such a marvel as this? 🙂

Thank you. I makes these ”tools” mainly for experimental reasons, for fun and for inspiration. Hopefully some of the ideas will creep into Unify eventually. I would love to think that my former ”random patch loader” inspired Shane to introduce the dice☺️. I can share it now but prefer to wait, when I made the video I got some ideas for changing the UI, so stay tuned.

Super! Will do.
Updated with new GUI. Short YT-clip uploaded.
As said before this utility is probably totally unnessesary for most UNIFY users. Hopefully the ideas can inspire Shane for future versions of UNIFY.
If you still think you want to give it a try, let me know and I will publish a download link.

I want to get a try.

On a second thought I have to hold back on publishing this. It totally fulfills my requirents but I realized that it has some shortcomings.
- At the moment Favorites are not handled (I’m not using Favorites at the moment)
- It requires some documentation that I don’t have time to make now.
