Help Noob. Want to buy but?

Hello brand new to unify and I have a couple questions. Sorry if this is the wrong spot I’ve tried to do some research and maybe I’m just an idiot. I already purchased an atmosphere patch bank (OMG Drums) and I tell you what it’s amazing.!!!!  I’ve downloaded the demo for unify and I’m actually ready to pull the trigger, but here’s my question. I see people talking about external plug-ins and I see the list there’s quite a bit of VST2 I have a brand new Mac studio and the only plug-in format I will use on it is VST3. I know maybe I’m stubborn…. LOL. Will the VST2 be upgraded or am I thinking in wrong terms of how this is going to be used?

If someone could point me to a video I don’t wanna take up a lot time, but I guess I’m confused. Let’s say I wanna add an instance of diva an instance of serum and instance of whatever can I do that or am I just pulling the patches I guess maybe I should just buy it and play around with it. The sound quality sounds great.
