Hello, I recently installed Unify and found a great sound that I'd like to use. As a complete newbie in Unify, I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm trying to record some of the knob movements in the Guru Sampler, but I'm having trouble. I'm using Cubase, and when I try to use the 'R' (read) and 'W' (write) functions, for the automation, it doesn't seem to work as expected. Can anyone explain the correct process for recording knob movements / automation in Unify's Guru Sampler?

Best regards,

MrtNL

You can automate the macro knobs within your DAW - those are exposed to the DAW as automation parameters.

Internally to Unify you can click the 'ear +' icon next to a macro knob, then it will listen for parameter changes - and by moving the parameter knob in the GuruSampler it will pick that up and allow remote control via the macro.

Click the knob operations menu button for the macro, to then open the Linked parameters popup window - there you can add or remove & adjust modulation target curves.
