Hello,
I don't know what others buyers prefer but could it be possible, when adding a layer instrument, to create it at the top of the window ? actually it is at the end so I have to scroll each time I add one...
Perhaps a choice in a preferences panel ?
In a same way, reordering them would be great...

It will be possible to drag layers to re-order them in a near-future update. Much of the work is done, but suppressed in release builds until I get it working just right. It's just not stable yet.
Your idea to add layers at the top or bottom, based on a preference, is a very interesting one. I added it to the wish list.
