Would there be a (relatively) easy way to give a graphical notification of the parent Unify instance, and another for a child instance?
I find sometimes I have two or three instances open and a simple dot or colour change somewhere to denote the parent would be nice. Not essential though.

This occurred to me too. I think it would be a helpful touch if the dark background of nested instances became gradually lighter the further down the rabbit hole you go. After all, rabbit holes are dark and require a torch. Altering the whole background would make it easier identify the general context of windows even if they are tucked behind other windows. It would also be useful to see a complete path displayed in nested window titles.
I've been working on aspects of this, but it will probably not appear until the next update after the one coming next week.
