in the new morgan patch titled "Bass split - B3 Pedals and perc" all macros work except 5 and 6.
I redid them but they still display in red while all the others are working perfectly (green display).
do you have the same on your side?

I see that also. The parameter linking is acting strangely between Unify layers, and those two "B3 Green Eyed" Unify layers are not duplicates of each other either.

And another little macro confusion over here, but it's probably something I don't understand. Why is it that the Leslie effect is hardcoded, as it seems, to CC1 instead of using Macro 1, which can be any CC number?

Only the MIDI-control aspect is hard-coded, and this is optional; you can set it to "None". Whatever the MIDI-control setting, the MOrgan Cab effect exposes all its parameters (including Leslie Speed) for automation, so you're free to link them to macro knobs however you want.

Thank you for spotting this. We will have to issue an update, as I have just determined that the MOrgan plug-ins included with Unify v1.7.2 are not the very latest.
The version of MOrgan Osc we shipped used apostrophe (') characters in the parameter names; this was corrected to "ft" in the latest build, but I messed up and didn't get that one into the installer. There's a huge number of details to get right in a release, and we were making changes to the MOrgan plug-ins right up to the end, so it's not too surprising I got this one wrong.

Windows users can download a special update installer for the MOrgan 1.2.0 plug-ins here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/itd2q03nili8ooe/MOrgan_Win_1.2.0.zip?dl=0
The installer will automatically put the updated MOrgan plug-ins where they belong in Unify's own special VST folder.
Mac users should already have the latest MOrgan plug-ins. The version number may show as "1.1.0", but this is not important.

thank you Shane . I updated Morgan and try the same patche . Macros 5 and 6 are still red and disable .Â
I have redone them manually and they remain red . I also tried to replace the ' by ft but it's the same .
and still no problem on the others macros (only 5 & 6 )Â

In my case, "Bass split - B3 Pedals and perc" doesn't have any macro parameters at all. All macros are empty 😀 :

The problem with Macros 5 and 6 is that the parameter names John used contain both slash (/) and apostrophe (') characters. Unify interprets the slashes as path-separators. You can normally deal with this by quoting the parameter name (putting an apostrophe at the beginning and end), but the existing apostrophe makes that fail.
Attached is a version of the patch where I have eliminated both slash and apostrophe characters, and this works.
HOWEVER, there is definitely a bug here, which John also mentioned to me yesterday. After renaming the knobs in both embedded Unify instances, they seemed to update correctly only for the first one, but not the second one, so I was unable to select the parameters for the INST2 layer from the popup menus. I had to type them in instead, and of course they showed in red at first. However, they reverted to green and started working when I saved and re-loaded the patch. I will be looking into this today.

UPDATE: I found the bug. Editing a knob name manually would change the name of the underlying automation parameter, but loading (from a preset) or pasting (from clipboard) a batch of macro-links would not. This will be fixed in the next Unify update, but for now, just save and re-load your patch after performing such a load/paste operation, and the parameter names will be updated.
