Hi there,
I'd really like to see an LFO like Macro knob (maybe knob 32 on page 4), just running in one direction, since you can define the curvature anyways in the macro knob assignments so you can get any sort of "LFO waveform". Maybe an other Macro knob could then set the "LFO rate", this way you do not have to add a dedicated knob oder button or something else for the "LFO".
I know about the Midibox LFO Midi files, but that is a bit too complicated to program into an existing patch imho.
Regards and merry Christmas
This has been on our to-do list for some time, and we have BIG plans in this direction.
for those who use Reaper you can assign as many LFOs as you want in Unify and in particular the 32 macros. Use the "parameter modulation / midi link" command.
It works very well except that you cannot save them in a patch. LFOs will work for every patches in Unify . You can just turn them on or off.
but it is already nice. that gives an idea of what LFOs embedded in Unify will give.

@batterydead, You can control Unify's macro knobs with a WebMidi LFO like this on https://studiocode.dev/modulators/
Don't forget you can use one of the "MIDIBox LFO" MIDI files included with Unify to send a stream of MIDI CC#1 messages to any plug-in, including an embedded Unify instance if you need to drive macro knobs with the MIDI stream.
An instance of MIDIBox (or indeed any MIDI-generating plug-in) in Unify can't send to that Unify instance's knobs, but it can send to the knobs of embedded Unify instances. See https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=midi-details for details about how Unify processes MIDI.
Yes of course, I have already tried this method and it works well .
but with the midifile it is difficult to have settings like a real LFO (shape, strength, phase, speed, base line and so on ...). And in addition, assigning to the macro knob allows you to act in one go on all the layers linked to the macro knob.
But in the meantime it's already great to have this possibility.

@getdunne This is still something I really want to be able to do! Being able to trigger an LFO for any parameter on any instrument/variable would be amazing..
Thanks for the feedback. We know this feature could be very popular, but it may take a long time to get a usable implementation, where there are few or no audible glitches. We'll get there eventually.
